Junior Coach Applications due September 30.

Junior Coaches must complete the Coach Initiation in Sport e-module (before going on ice) and Safe Sport by December 15. Once complete, junior coaches do not need to do these e-modules in subsequent seasons.

Please register in RAMP using the coach/staff option (not the participant registration), before you complete your application.

Any ringette athlete between 14 and 17, at the start of the season, who is currently playing or played in the previous season, may apply to be a Junior Coach. Junior Coaches are permitted on a roster in any age division below their own.

There is no limit to the number of Junior Coaches on a team roster, however Bow View generally likes to spread out the Junior Coaches so more teams can take advantage of having a Junior Coach.

Junior Coaches may never replace a mandatory, fully certified female coach who must be at least 18 years of age.

Junior Coaches should not be alone with another Coach at any time.

Bow View does not reimburse for the mandatory Coach Initiation in Sport e-module. This course is typically free for one week in September during National Coaches Week.
